Vision

Megan Cope Elementary was established with a goal in mind. The goal is student SUCCESS!  As a result, our school motto is, “Soaring to SUCCESS, Nothing Less!”  The staff focuses on empowering students.  We hold ourselves accountable for their learning.  The Instructional Goals include a rigorous curriculum, relevant connections, and building relationships.  Teachers focus on engaging students with Technology, Whole Brain Teaching, and a Positive Attitude!  The staff collaborate and work together to assist ALL students.  

The staff at Megan Cope works to ensure your child is provided with a learning environment that is safe and promotes positive character building.  The staff strongly believes in a school and home partnership.  We encourage you to actively participate in the education of your child.  By working together, staff and parents will teach children how to get along better at home and school, succeed in school, and be more self-directed in life.

Once again, Megan Cope has made significant progress in realizing students’ increased academic achievement.  In support of ensuring the academic success of all students, Megan Cope will be implementing the Common Core State Standards and focus on writing across the curriculum.  In doing so, we are committed to implementing San Jacinto Unified School District’s student-centered vision to ensure each and every student is college and career ready.

As a reminder, please be sure your child has a healthy breakfast and arrives every day to school on time.  All students are able to receive a free breakfast either before school or at second-chance breakfast during recess.  Let’s work together to get every student to school on time and ready to learn!
